Chronophoto is made in France by an independent computer repair technician. No ads, no account to create: just software that does one thing well.
Which processor do you have? In the Linux Terminal, type uname -m: x86_64 = Intel or AMD, aarch64 = ARM. Everything is explained in the guides below.
The first time, Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”: this is usual for small publishers. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Learn more
No. By default Chronophoto copies your photos into the new folder: the originals do not move. And if you don't like the result, the “Undo this sort” button removes everything.
Never. Everything happens on your computer, even finding city names. Chronophoto only checks whether a new version exists (and you can turn that off).
This is a common message for software from small publishers. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Chronophoto contains no ads and no hidden software.
In Chronophoto, click the “Trial” button at the top right, then “Buy my licence”: the order opens on this site with your computer's code already filled in. You receive your licence key by e-mail within a minute of your card payment.usually within 2 working days of receiving your payment. If you did not tick the box “receive my key as soon as my payment is received”, it is sent at the end of the 14-day withdrawal period. Paste it into the “Activate Chronophoto” window and you are done. Keep that e-mail: the key will be asked for again if you reinstall Windows or Chronophoto.
No: e-mail me the new computer code and I will move your licence for free, once a year. A lost key (same computer, same code) is sent again for free, at any time. See the terms of sale (in French), article 7.
Yes: Chronophoto is free for your first 100 photos, with every feature and no time limit. Photos sorted, copied, backed up or deleted are counted; the preview, the duplicate search and your memories are not. Then buy your licence to sort everything: photos already sorted are not done again.
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal, unless you asked to receive your key straight away (see the terms of sale, in French). If you have any problem, e-mail me and we will find a solution.
These apps display your photos, but they do not sort your files into folders. Google Photos also asks you to upload your photos, with a subscription beyond the free storage. Chronophoto really sorts the files on your computer: you find the same folders everywhere (USB stick, backup, another computer), with no subscription and nothing uploaded.
Your first 100 photos are free, with every feature. You see the result before you decide.
